1. Who We Are

Aetheris ("we", "our", or "us") operates the precision astrology platform at aetheris.report. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information when you use our services.

2. Information We Collect

• Account data: Your email address and authentication credentials when you register.
• Birth chart data: Date, time, and location of birth that you voluntarily provide to generate natal charts. This data is stored to power your charts and personalised horoscopes.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interaction events, collected anonymously to improve the product.
• Payment data: Billing is processed by LemonSqueezy. We never see or store your full card number. We only receive a transaction confirmation and your subscription status.
• Cookies & local storage: Session tokens, preferences, and anonymous analytics identifiers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To generate and display your natal charts, daily horoscopes, and synastry reports.
• To authenticate your account and maintain your session.
• To process payments and manage subscription status via LemonSqueezy.
• To send transactional emails (receipts, password resets). We do not send marketing email without your explicit opt-in.
• To diagnose errors and improve platform performance.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure (hosted on AWS), protected by row-level security policies ensuring only you can access your charts and personal data. Connections are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time — see Section 7.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly to operate the platform:

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• LemonSqueezy — payment processing and subscription management.
• Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. If you use our analytics features, an anonymous identifier is stored in local storage. You can clear this at any time via your browser settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data via your account settings.
• Delete your account and all associated data by emailing [email protected].
• Export your chart data — contact support and we will provide a JSON export.
• Object to processing — if you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, contact us.

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you also have rights under the GDPR. We will respond to all verified requests within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Aetheris is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
